 If you're looking for a heavier weight baby blanket for cooler weather, this Lots of Love Grandma's Afghan pattern, available for free on Ravelry, is a wonderful choice.  Once again, a worsted weight yarn is recommended and as above, Aslan Trend's Royal Alpaca would make this blanket super soft and warm.
