Louet Kidlin Lace
Now 25% Off
Kidlin is a stunning blend of linen and mohair and is available in a plethora of colours. The linen provides a crispness to your garment, while the mohair produces a lovely halo effect. This yarn is a 20 stitch gauge but depending on the effect desired, can be knit to a variety of gauges creating a tighter or looser knit. Perfect for spring knits! |

- Always Something New -
New knitting/project bags made by a local Vancouver designer are exquisitely designed using 100% reassigned decorator fabric samples and leather handles from reassigned thrift store finds. The designer, who is an avid knitter, created these bags with the knitter in mind and has payed particular attention to details, providing slots for yarn and notions. Each bag is unique and made with loving care - and Tigger loves them, too!
Some of our many sale items include:
For Noro fans, a large selection of yarns including Kirari, Hitsuji, Kogarashi, Vintage, Retro and more at 25% off!
Also, a large selection of patterns by Brooklyn Tweed, Blue Sky Alpaca and Manos del Uruguay are also on sale for 50% off!
Not only are these great savings, but for our BC customers, don't forget that the new tax changes allow yarn to be PST exempt, so the taxes have dropped from 12% to 5%, a savings to you of 7%!
(Please note that inventory levels may vary between stores)

- Project Ideas -
Shibui Mix No. 2 is a great pattern by Kristin Ford - an easy to knit and wear layering piece that can be thrown over yoga tops for a casual look, or over a camisole for a more dramatic look. Suggested yarn is Shibui Silk Cloud doubled, but Kidlin Lace would also look fabulous with this pattern - both Amanda and Julie are making this using the Kidlin, but given the choices, had a very difficult time trying to pick the "perfect" colour.

Knit Wear Spring 2013 magazine has just arrived and is chocker block full of ideas and patterns from skirts, dresses, tunics, cowls, wraps, tanks and more. One of our favourites is the Die Cut Vest featured on the cover. Three yarn suggestions for this pattern include Alchemy Tweed, Madelinetosh Tosh Sock, or Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light.
Alison just whipped up this Lonely Tree Shawl, a free pattern on Ravelry. She made it using four balls of Rowan All Seasons Cotton and will be offering it as an introduction to knitting charted lace beginning May 7 for four weeks.
