Greetings,

It's hard to believe we are heading into the summer months.  Summer is vacation season.  If you are heading out of town, out of state, or out of the country, and are planning to rent a car, please call us first.  We will let you know what coverage you need to purchase from the car rental agency to ensure that you are properly protected.

We recommend that anytime you are away on vacation, you have a trusted relative or friend check on your home to be sure that everything is in order.  Many times pipes burst or break ins occur in our clients absence and the damage is not found until their return.  The lapse in time between the day the event occurs and the day it is noticed can sometimes make the difference between a small claim/loss and an extreme situation.  Some years ago one of our clients left the country for a 3 week trip to Europe.  A pipe broke in their home causing extensive water damage.  The water sat in the home for 3 weeks causing an extreme mold issue which rendered the house uninhabitable and caused much hardship for our clients.  We want to be sure that doesn't happen to you.

We'd love your feedback.  Please email your comments to:

Updating Your Auto Policy

State Law requires that all licensed household members, regardless of whether or not they are relatives, must be listed on an auto insurance policy.  If there is a licensed member of your household  who isn't listed on your auto policy, please let us know so that we can update your policy.  Insurance carriers can and will deny a claim for a claim that arises when the driver of the vehicle is a household member who  isn't listed on your policy.    This same rule applies to people who routinely drive your vehicle, regardless of whether or not they are household members.  If somebody uses  your car routinely, they must be listed on the policy  so that in the event of an accident, you will be properly protected.

Is Your New Home Fully Protected?

You've worked with MTM to insure your new home and are happily enjoying your castle, confident that you are fully protected.  Or are you?  One of the main reasons people lose their homes is suffering an unexpected illness or injury which renders them incapable of making the payments on their home.  At MTM we take seriously our responsibility to educate our customers about ALL risks to their castle, AND their family.  Please call us to learn more and have us do an analysis for you.
