Ohio Fatherhood Summit: Request for Workshop Proposals
The Ohio Commission on Fatherhood (OCF) and the Ohio Practitioners' Network for Fathers and Families (OPNFF) are pleased to announce a conference for fatherhood and family-service practitioners, county and state agency staff and members of the fatherhood community. COMPASSION * CONNECTIVITY * CELEBRATION
The Ohio Fatherhood Summit will be held on May 21 and 22, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio at a location to be announced. Registration, agenda and location details will follow soon. The Summit will be FREE for all participants.
OCF and OPNFF are requesting proposals for workshops to be conducted on Thursday, May 22, 2014.
Proposals are invited for five content areas:
1. Recruitment and Retention;
2. Incarcerated Dads;
3. Community Mobilization (*Applicant must have completed OCF community mobilization training)
4. Custody, Parenting Time and Co-Parenting;
5. The Father-Child Relationship.
Workshops will be 70 minutes in length and should be planned as dynamic and interactive sessions, involving participants as much as possible.
