Ohio County Fatherhood Initiative

The Ohio Commission on Fatherhood has begun the second round of its innovative county mobilization training, the Ohio County Fatherhood Initiative.   County leaders from Cuyahoga, Hamilton, Lake, Lucas and Perry are all participating.  While the crisis of father absence is national, solutions must be found and implemented at the local level, one community at a time.  Moreover, in this time of budget shortfalls and rising needs, local leaders must build collaborations and coordinate services.  In addition to free training, counties receive $10,000 seed money to implement a fatherhood initiative.  To read more about the  Initiative and how your county can participate in the future please contact us. More>>
FREE Training Workshops for Fatherhood Professionals, Financial Education  & Child Support

Take advantage of a FREE opportunity to learn more about Building Assets for Fathers and Families (BAFF). This federally funded program collaborates with financial education organizations, county child support offices and fatherhood-related organizations to address financial needs of low-income non-custodial parents with child support orders. The goal is to strengthen their ability to take an active role as a responsible parent financially and emotionally. Check to see when BAFF will be in your area! More>>

Stay tuned for OCF funding announcements!!!
