 To those of you that are mothers, have you ever had "one of those days?" Where one thing after another seems to happen and your day gets totally discombobulated? For example, the picture you see above is actually "one of those days" for an FBS preschool mom a couple of Sunday mornings ago! After a hurried morning getting three preschoolers ready for church (as well as herself), she couldn't decide which sandals looked best with her outfit, so she tried two different ones on and looked in the mirror. She got sidetracked with one of her children, got to the church and looked down, and what did she see? Two different sandals! Such is the life of a mother with preschoolers!
We all face different circumstances in our lives...some difficult, some joyful, some lonely, some seemingly impossible to bear. Pressures of parenting are endless. Regardless of what situation we are currently in or about to be in, always remember that God only towers above our circumstances. He wants to use the difficult aspects of our lives for our good. "In all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
God is able to produce something positive and glorifying to Himself from ANY circumstance we face. As mothers, we go through various trials with our children. Let us not forget that God is our only true hope to face today's circumstance. If we choose to trust Him, stay in prayer, read His word, thank Him for our children, and wait on God's peace, He will lead us through all of our circumstances.
I would like to say to all of the mothers at First Baptist Snellville, "Happy Mother's Day!" Thank you for the opportunity to partner with you in building your child's spiritual foundation!

Infinity Kids Camp - July 8-12, 2013
9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Children who have completed grades 1st-4th by the end of 2012-13 school year are invited to attend. Camp activities will immerse your child in the Truth of God's Word through worship, Bible study, sports and individual activities.
