2-1-1 Get Answers, Get Connected
Dial Phone #211 from your phone. A toll-free call to 2-1-1 connects you with a community resource specialist in your area who can put you in contact with local organizations providing supplemental food, shelter and housing options, utilities assistance, employment and education opportunities, services for veterans, health care information, support groups, mental health services, domestic abuse resources and more. Services can also be located by using the website.

The Administration for Community Living (ACL) is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and is headed by the Administrator, who reports directly to the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). Use Medicare.gov Nursing Home Compare to search by name, city, county, state, or zip code and compare the quality of the nursing homes using the Five-Star Quality Ratings, health inspection results, nursing home staff data, quality measures, and fire safety inspection results.
