Braille Rally Fundraiser for
American Council of the Blind of Colorado
Starting Line: 6300 West Colfax Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80214.
This fundraiser benefits the ACBCO Sights for Seniors program. This is a classic car ride along the front range where sighted individuals are navigated 75-100 miles throughout a route starting in Lakewood and ending in Highlands Ranch by Blind and visually impaired individuals using Braille and large print directions.

Senior Living World Tour of Fort Collins
Starts at: The Fort Collins Senior Center
Address: 2350 Limon Drive, Fort Collins, CO
The Fort Collins Senior Center will host a city-wide tour of Independent and Assisted Living communities on Saturday, June 8th from 8:00am until 4:00pm departing from the Senior Center at 1200 Raintree Drive in Fort Collins. Attendees will visit five communities each of which will provide themed food and drinks from a different country. Destinations include Italy, Mexico, France, and Germany, and the United States. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about senior housing and care options in Fort Collins while taking a virtual tour around the world. Admission for the World Tour is $10.00 and includes transportation from the Senior Center, breakfast, snacks, lunch, a happy hour, as well as entry into a drawing at the end of the day. Communities participating in the tour are Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care, Good Samaritan Society Fort Collins Village, Parkwood Estates, Sterling House and Clare Bridge, and Rigden Farm Senior Living. Space is limited and interested parties are encouraged to register early through the Senior Center. Participants can register online or by phone at 970-221-6256, or in person at the Fort Collins Senior Center.
