A new $13 million assisted living and memory care community is under construction at 5355 Centennial Blvd. in northern Colorado Springs. An information center will open on the site January 7, 2013, with doors opening to residents in September 2013 under the name, MorningStar at Mountain Shadows. Development of the property is a joint venture between MorningStar Senior Living, LLC, a Denver-based senior living developer and operator, and Millennium Venture Group (MVG), a Denver-based real estate development and investment firm. 107th National Western Stock Show

The National Western Stock Show is celebrating its 107th year. This charitable organization provides college and graduate level scholarships in agriculture and medicine for practice in rural areas. It is also the premier Stock Show, Rodeo and Horse Show for Colorado and neighboring western states.
