2016 Battle for the Paddle
With 145 teams cooking jambalaya or gumbo, United Way of St. Charles kicked off our 2016 fundraising campaign at our 15th annual Battle for the Paddle. The event was held Thursday, October 6th at the West Bank Bridge Park in Luling, with live music provided by Cowboy Mouth.



Thank you to all of the teams who participated and everyone who attended! Your support of United Way of St. Charles makes a real difference in St. Charles Parish.



 UWSC Co-Chairs for 2016-2017 Campaign 


Representatives from St. Charles Parish Government, Louisiana Disability Law, and Creative Family Solutions are serving as chairpersons for the 2016 United Way of St. Charles Fall Campaign. This year's co-chairs are Anthony Ayo of St. Charles Parish Government, Loyd J. Bourgeois, Jr. of Louisiana Disability Law, and Eric Dishongh of Creative Family Solutions.



UWSC Holds Campaign Breakfast & Training
Representatives from over 40 companies around St. Charles Parish participated in the United Way of St. Charles Campaign Coordinator Breakfast & Training on Wednesday, August 6, 2016 at the Monsanto Auditorium in Luling.



Guest speakers included Enrique Wehlen of Monsanto, Louis Palmer of OxyChem, and Tracy Naquin of Get Fit United. UWSC's 2016 Campaign Co-Chairs Loyd Bourgeois, Anthony Ayo & Eric Dishongh were also in attendance. In addition to learning more about United Way, participants at the breakfast shared ideas and best practices for holding a successful workplace fundraising campaign.
