Join higher education institutions' leadership, management, teaching and support staff; quality assurance agency staff; policy-makers and national authorities; students and world of work representatives in our workshop on the ESG 2015 as a tool for change. Following the EHEA Ministerial Conference of 14-15 May 2015 in Yerevan (Armenia), a new period of development for the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) begins in the Bologna Follow-Up Group (BFUG). In preparation of the upcoming Ministerial Conference in Paris in 2018, a number of working groups have been created and started their work in January 2016. EURASHE is a consultative member of the Bologna Process and as such contributes to BFUG Board meetings, BFUG meetings and is a member of 4 of the new working/advisory groups.

EURASHE is organising with colleagues of the EQUIP project (ENQA, EUA, ESU, EI, EQAR, UiO, CCISP) 5 events on the use of the ESG 2015 as a tool for change in European higher education in the first semester of 2016: 17 February (webinar), 14-15 March (Amsterdam), 13 April (webinar), 9-10 May (Vienna) and 6-7 June (Lisbon). The European Commission has published a list of inspiring practices carried out by the higher education community to support newly arrived refugees in Europe. This list is the result of responses to an EU survey among higher education institutions and student organisations. It has been further completed following a workshop with representatives of Erasmus+ National Agencies, institutions and student organisations.

EURASHE is supporting the consortium led by the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre from the Münster University of Applied Sciences, Germany that has been contracted by the European Commission to conduct a Europe-wide study on cooperation between universities and business. Two major quantitative studies together with the production of 50 good practice will be conducted by the partnership. More will soon be available online.

Smart Cities in Smart Regions international Conference is organised by the Lahti University of Applied Sciences in co-operation with a number of international, national and regional partners. The main themes of the Conference are Future Development of Regions, Citizens and Urban Sustainability and Smart Industry and Innovation.
