Our 26th Annual Conference will take place in Serbia (Belgrade) on 21-22 April 2016. The main conference theme will be centres of cooperation striving for excellence: professional higher education and the world of work. Sessions will be structured around 3 tracks on employability, regional development, and innovation. Registrations are now open online, further information will soon become available. The ESG are the basis for quality assurance in the EHEA. They are one of the main achievements of the Bologna Process and its follow-up structure, the Bologna Follow-Up Group (BFUG) in the past decade. The ESG 2015 were adopted by ministers in charge of higher education in the EHEA during their conference in Yerevan, in May 2015. The ESG 2015 have now been published with the support of the EQUIP project. More information here »

The European Commission has started to review the EU's modernisation agenda for higher education, published in 2011, to ensure EU activities in higher education are as useful as possible. As part of this review, the Commission has launched an online consultation to collect the views of stakeholders about the current situation in Europe's higher education systems, as well as on priorities for change. The consultation is open until 29 February 2016.

Our members Hellenic American University and Hellenic American College are organising on 23-26 September 2016 in Athens a conference to examine issues in the ongoing construction of European identity, including notions of diversity and (physical and symbolic) borders. You can still submit a proposal for a panel until 15 December. More information here »

The 2016 University-Industry Interaction Conference (1-3 June 2016, Amsterdam) will be a global meeting and discussion forum for researchers, practitioners and business representatives on university-industry interaction, innovation and entrepreneurship, where theory and practice are equally emphasised in the programme.
