INNOVATIVE PHE: NEW TRENDS FOR THE FUTURE

REGISTRATION & CALL FOR POSTERS NOW OPEN
EURASHE will organise a seminar on professional higher education (PHE) titled 'Innovative PHE: News Trends for the Future' in Warsaw (Poland) on 14-15 October 2015. It is organised by EURASHE and the Conference of Rectors of State Schools of Higher Vocational Education in Poland (KRePSZ).
This year's seminar will be developed through 3 hot topics in professional higher education: funding and best practices in diversifying financial resources; prevention models for student dropout and best practices in ensuring access for underrepresented groups, benefits of stakeholder cooperation for regional development.
Registrations have been opened, and a call for posters on funding of professional higher education has been launched. Participants presenting a poster benefit from a reduction in the registration fee of EUR 50. |

RDI & INSTITUTIONAL FUNDING ACTIVITIES SURVEY

CONTRIBUTE TO OUR SURVEY FOR PROFESSIONAL HE
EURASHE has decided to launch this questionnaire to get an up-to-date overall picture of the current institutional funding and of RDI situations. The results of the survey will be analysed anonymously and compiled in a report, which will help us to continue delivering quality advocacy work on institutional funding of higher education and on applied research. First results will be presented in our seminar in Warsaw, with a full report on RDI activities in the event in Heilbronn.

NEW PROJECTS STARTING THIS AUTUMN

FROM THE REVISED ESG TO CAPACITY BUILDING IN ASIA
EURASHE will lead and contribute to 7 new projects starting this autumn. They are the EQUIP project on the revised ESG, the BuildPHE and PROCSEE projects strengthening professional higher education in Europe, the CALOHEE project on measuring learning outcomes, the BEEHiVES project on higher VET and employment, the TACTIC project on capacity building in Asia, and finally the TEACHEX project on teaching excellence in Israel. CHALLENGES IN TIMES OF ECONOMIC CRISIS

SEMINAR IN MOSCOW, RUSSIA, 25 SEPTEMBER 2015 EURASHE will contribute to the seminar on 'Professional Higher Education as a Solution to the Economic Crisis' organised by the Association of Non-State Higher Educational Institutions in Russia (ANHEIR/ANVUZ) in Moscow (Russia) on 25 September 2015. The seminar will discuss, among others, the optimal strategy for management in higher education and effective collaboration promotion between higher education and business.More information here

REGIONAL ASPECTS TO RESEARCH & INNOVATION

HEILBRONN, GERMANY, 3 DECEMBER 2015 - SAVE THE DATE
EURASHE will organise a seminar focusing on the regional cooperation in research, development and innovation (RDI) in Heilbronn (Germany) on 3 December 2015. It will be hosted by the Duale Hochschule Baden-Wuerttemberg Heilbronn. Please mark the date in your calendar already. Results of the survey on RDI activities will be presented during the event along with, amongst others, interactive workshops.

QACHE CONFERENCE ON QA OF CROSS-BORDER HE

JOIN ENQA'S QACHE CONFERENCE, PARIS, FRANCE, 5-6 NOV
The final conference of the QACHE project, co-organised by ENQA and France's HCERES, will bring together colleagues working in the field of higher education from Europe, the Gulf, and Asia-Pacific region to discuss the most prominent issues relating to the growing phenomenon of cross-border higher education (CBHE) and its quality assurance. It will present the results and outcomes of the project and also discuss issues related to recognition and ways to build reciprocal trust and better coordination of education provision across borders.

The 10th European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) titled 'Tacking stock and looking forward' will take place in London (United Kingdom) on 19-21 November 2015.
