AHIF 1995 - 2015

In the fall of 1994, AHIF founders, Allyn Kaufmann and Bruce Dicoskey had an idea. Americans were starting to realize what Europeans had for years: that hotel accommodations were expensive and confining. And that renting a vacation home in France offered great advantages, both in value and in lifestyle. There were already a few agencies specializing in European home rentals. But with Allyn's French language and culture expertise, along with their love of France and frequent travel there, they thought an agency offering unique homes and more knowledgeable and personalized service would be successful. So AHIF was launched in February 1995.

Twenty years later, they were right! Starting in 2011, Antoine and V�ro Collomba took the reins of the company and continue its fine traditions. We feel fortunate to have helped thousands of travelers taste a unique slice of French life in vacation apartments in Paris and homes throughout the countryside. And this season, we're excited about introducing our clients to the delights of Corsica.

When we look over the landscape of the past 20 years, a few things remain constant. First and foremost, we have the privilege of working with exceptional people, including our fine property owners and our diverse clientele of Americans, Canadians, Australians and Europeans.
