It was a well-spent Saturday morning of February 23rd, 2013 when English Online hosted another monthly webinar for ESL Practitioners on Portfolio Assessment in the ESL Classroom. English for Financial Literacy Resource, March 27, 2013, 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm CDT.
Presenters will give an overview of the project, discuss ideas and suggestions for incorporating financial literacy into settlement programs, and present sample sections of the print resource, including the planning framework and classroom-ready activities for CLB 1-8. This year, the TEAM Conference (Teachers of EAL to Adults in Manitoba) will be held on Friday, May 24th, 2013 at The University of Winnipeg. The theme for the conference is
'Cultivating Sustainable Teaching Practices in the EAL Community' .
Call for Presenters:
If you are interested in presenting on this theme, as it relates to practices within a classroom, a school, or the larger community, please fill out a Workshop Proposal Application Form and submit it to Terena Caryk at email@example.com or mail it to the address provided in the form by April 5th, 2013.
