You have two more weeks to enjoy the best ArtSSpring 2009 has to offer!  There is something for everyone on the calendar from masterpiece theater,  art exhibits, culinary adventures,  and even a ShowStoppers talent competition for students in the Sandy Springs community! 
 
Curious about how you can become a member of this dynamic organization?  ArtsSS invites you to come along and "Catch a Caribbean Breeze" evening where you can meet members of the organization and learn more about all the upcoming events and plans for making Sandy Springs a showplace for the arts. 
 
Catch a Caribbean Breeze in the Garden (3p.m.- 6p.m.)
Join us on the lovely grounds of the Griffith-Richard House  (circa 1929) on Sunday, May 17,  from 3:00PM-6:00PM, at 1295 Heards Ferry Road in Sandy Springs.  (Details below in the calendar of events)

Give It Up for Local Talent!Showstopper band
This event will showcase all the Sandy Springs schools and the remarkable
student talent in our own backyard. Judges for ShowStoppers are Jody Feldman, Alliance Theatre Casting Director; Brandt Blocker, Artistic Director, Atlanta Lyric Theatre; and Leonard Mason, of TRU Music Group.  MCs are Sandi Friedman and Representative Joe Wilkinson.  Everyone gets a vote!  Come and cheer for local talent and show your support of your school's talent!
