Thanks to all of you who have renewed your membership to ArtSS!  For those of you interested in becoming a part of this community organization dedicated to promoting the arts in Sandy Springs, we hope you will join us for food, fun and frolic on Sunday, May 17, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, at 1295 Heards Ferry Road in Sandy Springs.   Come to "Catch the Caribbean Breeze" where you can learn more about ArtSS, its accomplishments, and its plans for our city.  Reservations required - please send your check to Bernadine Richard, 1295 Heards Ferry Road NW,  Atlanta, GA 30328 - Deadline May 11th.

Cost is $25/member or non-member, but members can to bring a guest at no charge!

What's up with the Green Bows Donning Our City Streets?
Green Bows Mark the Beginning of ArtSSpring 2009

It's the time of year when trees and shrubs are budding and mailboxes are bursting with green bows all over Sandy Springs.  The green bows are a reminder that a month of cultural festivities is about to begin---brought to you by ArtSS entitled ArtSSpring--an Extravaganza of Arts Activities.

With the $25 purchase of a festive green bow, residents can become a member of the "Bows-Art" brigade and support the arts in Sandy Springs.  If you are interested in purchasing a green bow for your home or office, contact Lib Thompson at 404-252-0094.
