Cleaning up Reading Garden The Reading Garden is beginning to bloom and could use your helping hands this Saturday April 18!

This Saturday, April 18th, the 7th annual "Volunteer for a Better Sandy Springs" is being held throughout our community. Over 500 people are expected to participate! One of the most excitng new projects in our community sponsored by ARTSS is the new Sandy Springs Reading Garden.  We could use your hands to spread mulch and pull up weeds to beautify this special place.  Saturday is going to be a beautiful, sunny day -- perfect weather for giving back to our lovely community!

Join us from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the garden, which is located on the east side of the Sandy Springs Library on Mt. Vernon Highway. If you have them, bring gloves, lopers, a bucket or wheelbarrow for carrying mulch, shovel, and a rake. At noon, there will be a free lunch, compliments of Arby's, at Hammond Park.  You'll also get a t-shirt for your efforts!
