The winter extreme cold said goodbye and the Olympics marched into my life. Yes like jigsaw puzzles, the Winter Olympics grab hold of me. Hobbes puts up with it as long as he is walked and has play time.

While walking with Hobbes through the snow canyons, I started laughing as I thought of Pet Olympics venues. Yes, many pets can be Olympians - dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs to name a few. So grab your best seat and cheer on your Pet Olympian!

Outdoor Venues

  • Pairs Walking - Person and dog team walks on a slippery sidewalk. Team earns points for balance, artistic execution of slips, falls, and other strange movements.

May our winter pass soon and get us all outside again. Looking forward to the signs of spring.

Take care,

Elaine
