At Thanksgiving, the American people give thanks with our official national holiday. We give thanks for our freedoms, health, family, friends, etc. We also give thanks for our pets who are our best friends.
Yes, our pets give us joy, unconditional love, and happiness. Did you know they give us so much more? They also improve our health. According to scientific studies, pets lower our stress, blood pressure, and more. Be sure you give you cat, dog, bird, horse, guinea pig, and any pet you have, a big thanks on Thanksgiving and every day!
Often we give our pets thanks by giving them extra treats. To improve their health and reward them for helping you, be sure to play with them and get them moving. For a cat, play with a toy she can chase and hit. For a dog, go for a walk. This will help them keep trim waistlines. Also with the holidays approaching, it is always good to review the foods poisonous to cats, dogs, and guinea pigs.
As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to thank each of you for trusting me with your loving pets. All of you, humans and animals, are teachers to me. I've shared joys and sorrows with many of you: from a new puppy, illness, surgery, dog's anxiety, dog in pain, experiencing your pet's end of life with you, to messages from across Rainbow Bridge. I cherish these relationships and am grateful I can help you and your pets live your best lives.
Thank you for support over the past four years. I'm very excited about the future and how Animal Bridges can help you and your pets.
Take care,
Elaine
