Greetings!

Even here in the desert city of Phoenix where it is said there are only two seasons, 'summer' and 'getting closer to summer', it sure feels like spring to me!

Spring has always been my favorite season, especially when I lived in New York and couldn't wait for the winter weather (meaning, cold temps and snow) to be over! Yet no matter where I live, spring always symbolizes rebirth and rejuvenation for me. The change in the weather and the blooming of Nature caps that inner feeling with the physical manifestation of it.

And, of course, here in the desert where summer temps reach 115 degrees (or more!), I always want spring to hang around as long as possible - both outwardly and inwardly. Happy spring!

On another note, many thanks if you said a prayer and/or contributed to the GoFundMe campaign to assist my dear friend (and older 'sister') Samara on her journey back to wholeness after having a stroke in late January. She is working very hard and making great progress, amazing the healthcare people with her recovery. The campaign is still active, so if you'd like to contribute ANY amount, it would be most appreciated. And, you can do so anonymously if you are so inclined. You can get more info and make a donation at https://www.gofundme.com/samarachristy.

We are all in this together...

Blessings,

Happiness

"Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with
love, grace, and gratitude."
- Denis Waitley

Spiritual
The Power of Spring, of The Unseen

There is no doubt of the great power of Nature/Spirit/God/The Unseen/etc., and spring is a particularly striking season to demonstrate that power, another reason for me to delight in spring. Such aliveness comes forth that, like a child, I am left in great awe and wonder... Life in all forms is a miracle.
And so I share with you the following March 22nd entry (excerpted) from "Positive Living Day by Day" by Norman Vincent Peale.

There is no power in the world equal to spiritual power. Some people think atomic power is the greatest power in the world. Well, it is certainly an enormous, explosive power - there is no getting around that. It is a terrible power. But call to mind the sight of spring sunshine streaming through a window. There is more power there than is in atomic energy - within a period of a few weeks, the earth awakens to that power and soon grass and flowers cover the earth, powered by something that makes no noise. That is more than atomic power can do. Just think about it. Don't judge power by the noise it makes. Judge it by the results it achieves.

A Defining Moment

All it takes is one moment to forever change you. This is Narayanan Krishnan's story.

With a degree in hand and future in sight, Narayanan was on his way to being an award-winning chef at a 5-star restaurant in Switzerland. All it took to change his plans forever was a walk on the streets of his home town of Madurai, India...

Narayanan Krishnan
I trust you are enjoying this special season of rebirth and rejuvenation, feeling more and more alive as Mother Earth blooms...
