Greetings!
It's another last day of the month rush to publish the monthly e-newsletter - why is it that I can't seem to get it done sooner?!
Well, the month has been filled with many activities, much of them revolving around change and rebirth. I've set boundaries around work hours, have a regular sleep schedule, meditate in the morning without setting a timer (usually), am singing regularly (visit www.thresholdchoir.org - I helped start a Sedona chapter recently), am reading and studying spiritual literature daily, and am cultivating dear friendships. Financial prosperity has been revealing itself too (I've been tithing 10% of income again to those spiritual groups and people who contribute to my soul's nourishment)!
Spring is surely in the air (although last year I think we had a snowstorm in April), as it is in my heart. What does that mean?...
Well, I'm feeling a vibrancy within, enthusiasm, joy, and openness to trying new things, having new adventures... Kind of like a child who is immersed in learning about life and living as a spiritual being having a human experience. And, I feel a great deal more peace, more often these days. Hope, renewal, joy. Sounds a bit like the story of Easter. I am so grateful.
Blessings,

Spiritual/Personal
Shine Through Me "One of the prayers I came across this morning was "Lord, let my words and actions seek to uplift another whose load may need lightening and brightening today." - Daily Guideposts, March 25, 2010As I go out into the world today, I already know of some of the people I will encounter and their need for healing. I pray that my presence will soothe their spirit. They may not realize what is lightening and brightening their day, but I will: God's love, peace, and presence shining through me. I am so grateful to be such a vehicle for Spirit." - Blog post of March 31, 2010 "Shine Through Me" (JSK)Still apropos, of course!

Website Development/WordPress
Akismet: Spring Cleaning Your WordPress Website Spam is the use of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages, especially advertising, indiscriminately. While the most widely recognized form of spam is email spam, it also shows up as comments and track-back on your WordPress site. Luckily, you can first set up your site to moderate comments, so spam won't be visible on your site. And then, you can make use of a really nifty plugin called Akismet, which automatically filters out your spam. Created by the folks who created WordPress, Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not, and lets you review the spam it catches under your website's "Comments" admin screen. Akismet is one of only a few plugins that is already installed when you first install WordPress - that's how important (and good) it is. You simply: 1) activate the plugin; 2) sign up for an Akismet API key; and, 3) go to your Akismet configuration page, and save your API key. Your search engine optimization will be boosted as you...

I hope you have been enjoying the celebrations of the season... May we always feel like celebrating in our hearts no matter the day, season, or year. External events can contribute to this exuberance, but it's really always an inside job - with Spirit! Yours in Spirit, Joyce S. Kaye

Joyce "came to believe" in a Higher Power about 23 years ago. Thanks to hearing the novel idea that one could choose their own concept of God, and the workings of synchronicity, Joyce embarked on a new way of thinking, a new way of living, a new way of being in the world and with others. Since that time of commencing her conscious spiritual journey, she has endeavored to remember The Presence in all that is, all whom she meets, and all that she does - including working with others and their computer projects!
