LIBRARY'S GRAND REOPENING CELEBRATION

Saturday, May 2 from 2-4pm


You're invited! A long-awaited dream becomes reality as we celebrate the completion of the Library's renovation. Festivities include: official ribbon cutting, Bubbleman Geoff Akins, glitter tattoo artist, photo booth pictures, video gaming tournament, Forge demos, Culver's sundaes, raffle drawings and more!

DOCUMENT SHREDDING & ELECTRONIC RECYCLING 

Saturday, May 9 from 8-11am

AVA Recycling and Opportunity Secure Data Destruction will be on hand for this free event. To participate, please bring a non-perishable food item for each box of shredding or recycled electronic. Visit www.eapl.org for a list of acceptable items and more details.

COMMUNITY REMINDERS

The Community Emergency Response Team  (CERT) of South Lake County is having their 8th Annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, May 17th from 8:00am-1:00pm. This is the only fundraiser for CERT and all of the proceeds provide the training and equipment necessary to sustain the team.  By supporting the CERT team you are supporting the Village's ability to respond in an emergency.

Parents mark your calendar for this important child safety event on Saturday, May 20th from 10am - 2pm at the Lake Zurich Police Station.  The Lake Zurich Police will be conducting a child safety seat checkpoint.  This is a rain or shine event.
