MORTGAGE REFLIEF PROJECT
The State of Illinois is sponsoring an event to help homeowners who are struggling on their mortgage.
The program has three goals:
- Get consumers to meet with counselors or the lender sooner increasing the chance of success.
- Provide education about the foreclosure process so homeowners can manage this crisis better.
- Get homeowners to FREE counselors prior to being charged $3,000 to $12,000 and the possibility of the "company" disappearing with their money.
This is a FREE event. This event is at Hanover Park District Community Center, 1919 Walnut Ave, Hanover Park IL 60133.

The event is sponsored by Governor Pat Quinn's Office; Illinois Housing Development Authority; Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR); Illinois Department of Employment Security; and Attorney General Lisa Madigan's office and hosted by State Representative Michelle Mussman, State Senator Dan Kotowski, State Representative Martin Moylan, and State Representative Fred Crespo.
