CHECK YOUR WELL

WATER IN MARCH

Kildeer residents rely on ground water to supply their private wells. It is important to test well water annually to see if it meets minimum drinking water standards for bacteria and nitrates.

Water sampling kits are available from the Lake County Health Department.  Call them at (847) 377-8020 to get a kit.

From March 3rd to March 13th, the normal $16.00 analysis fee will be reduced to $10.00.  Water samples can be brought to the Lake County Central Permit Facility at 500 W. Winchester Road in Libertyville between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.  Mark your calendars now to do a water test in March.
