The best part of Spring is that it begins with EASTER. New life and new hope comes in Jesus Christ. The world's ugliest hate crime was the crucifixion of Jesus. But Jesus transformed even that darkness into Good Friday forgiveness. Then 3 days later, His resurrection evidenced the truth of His message and the restoration of hope. Join us for a devotional service at noon on Good Friday (March 25), pausing to reflect on the good Christ brought even while suffering in our place on the cross. Then Easter Sunday, let's celebrate in worship, as the can't miss Sunday of the year. We have Easter invitations available Sunday for you to hand deliver to friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Services are 8 am (classic traditional hymns), 9:30 & 11 am (including 3 choirs... kids JAM choir, Collide Creative teens, and adult choir)!

Celebrate your baptism!Wednesday, March 16 and 23, 7-8 pm in Guest Point
Make it "Official"! Nothing would add to our Easter Celebration more than decisions made public to follow Christ. Have you been attending for a while, but not made First Christian officially your "home"? Would being baptized on Easter be a day you will forever remember. Let us know if we can help you follow through with that desire. Call or email Steve Wingfield Steve@fccf.org or 314-837-2269 ext 30. Also check out the small group class on baptism either of the next two Wednesdays at 7 pm.

Let's DO LUNCH Sunday!
Sunday, March 20, 12:15 pm in Stage One
Plan to stay and enjoy lunch after church. You can help with the simple menu of sloppy joes and BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, along with lots of desserts. What's the occasion? This is our 2nd of once a month all-church lunches with several things to celebrate. We will celebrate Dave Walkup as our newest elder and 11 brand new deacons, "setting them apart" for service. Also, we will do a fun recognition of Kitty Strelow who is retiring to Tennessee after 27 years serving in our church office. We will ask for your help with Easter invitations, so we can get those hand delivered in your neighborhood. Click below if we can count on you to bring a crockpot of Sloppy Joes, BBQ for sandwiches, desserts, buns, etc. for Sunday.
