Starting Point
Starting Point Welcome Dinner
Wednesday, October 7, 6-8 pm in Guest Point

This is a great place to learn about the core values of First Christian, to hear a challenge to make your own personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, to be baptized, and to make First Christian your "home." Dinner and childcare are provided with RSVP.

NEW SuperGroups
Wednesday, October 7th, 7-8 pm

Life Is ________: This 6-week group will use a DVD study by Judah Smith, pastor of
The Village Church. With excitement and humor, Judah shows us the irrational love of God and the life that he intends for us to have in the here and now (Room 105).

Reason for God: This 6-week Supergroup will utilize a DVD study by pastor Tim Keller. Together with a diverse group, Keller discusses common doubts and questions about Christianity and explores the truth that helps with them (Room 132/134).

Want to join in, come to First Christian on Wednesday nights at 7 pm!

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact Joe Mueller at joe@fccf.org.
LAMBS & Nightlight Ladies Bible Study
Tuesday, October 13, 6:30-8:30 pm or Thursday, October 15, 9:30-11:30 am, rm 105

Do you ever wonder how the God of the Universe could love you? Come join us as we find out. This is the story of God's unfailing love for you and me. Like Israel and Gomer, we are prone to wander from His love; but He goes to extraordinary lengths to bring us back to Him. I can't wait for you to experience that kind of love! Workbook for this 7-week study is $12.00. Contact Pam Vogel at (314) 657-5855 with questions or comments.
Trunk or Treat Candy Collection
Saturday, October 31, 1-3 pm

It's that time again! We need to collect candy for Trunk or Treat. This is a great opportunity to connect with the community and encourage people to visit our church. Please place bags of candy into the decorated bins in the foyer and near each KidPoint Check-In location. Want to help make this year a success? Check your Connect Card for volunteer opportunities: decorate a trunk, parking, setup/cleanup, lead games, registration table or bake/buy items for Cakewalk.

Please bring a canned good to the Trunk or Treat event. The collected cans will be used to create food boxes which are given to families during the Noel Project Event. We are looking for cans of soup, chili, or meats i.e tuna, chicken, etc.

Thank you for supporting both outreach ministries.
