Mother's Day is coming fast and you can celebrate her at First Christian. I invite you to attend on Sunday, May 10 where the message will be, "What Mom Wants Most." My own mother, Ruth Wingfield, is a remarkable person who is one of God's greatest gifts in my life. As she blesses me and so many others, it is hard to find any gift, card, or flowers to adequately express my love and appreciation. But what my Mom wants most, is likely some of the same vital things your mother wants of you. The message will share some of those important things she may have a hard time saying. Join us for a great day of worship with special elements that you'll enjoy. Photo booths in the foyer can capture fun pictures. Flowers will be available. Give your best offering and we will be able to bless two of our Missions with a Mother's Day gift: Haiti Rapha House (with young unwed mothers) and Ninos de Mexico (children who have lost their mothers in Mexico City). Share this invite to our services at 8, 9:30 & 11 am

Sunday, May 10
We invite you to be part of a special recognition of mothers and their families! We will have two photo booths in our foyer for fun family photos. Please arrive early to take pictures before service starts. We will also have flowers you can give to honor Mom. The rental of the photo booths is donated as a special gift to recognize Ruth Wingfield as an amazing mother and servant to the children of our church. We encourage an extra special offering on Mother's Day as we will be setting aside a special gift to two of our missions. Our new Rapha House ministry in Haiti has several young unwed mothers. Also, Ninos de Mexico serves many orphaned children without mothers. Use of the photo booth and flowers are "free," but your best offering on Mother's Day will bless many and serve as a great way to honor mothers.
Elementary JAM choir will share a song from their upcoming musical at the 9:30 & 11 am service.
