Church Picnic This Sunday!

Sunday, September 7, after 11 am service

This Sunday, bring your favorite dish or picnic food and hang out with your church family at a backyard picnic! Plates, utensils and drinks will be provided, as well as snow cones, cotton candy, inflatables for the kids, and face painting. If baking is your thing, be sure to enter the best dessert contest also!

Are you in a small group or Sunday school class? This is your chance to sit together, promote your ministry and compete for the best tailgate food and decor. Prizes will be awarded!

Food Drive Competition

Students in UP Kids and FC Students are competing in a food drive competition to collect 3,000 food items for this year's NOEL Project. The grade grouping that collects the most cans will get an awesome party! The teams are as follows: early childhood (birth - kindergarten), 1st & 2nd grade, 3rd & 4th grade, 5th & 6th grade, 7th & 8th grade, 9th & 10th grade and 11th & 12th grade! Students can drop food items in their team boxes at the southeast KidPoint, the Student Center or outside their worship rooms!

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

As a mom, it was hard enough bringing your baby into the world. But now its gone and turned your world upside down! This phase of life is a turbulent time for both you and your child. So while you are pouring yourself into the development of your child, let us pour encouragement, insight and confidence into you!

Daytime MOPS meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 9:30-11:15am (starting Sept. 9). While moms are at the meeting, their little ones are being cared for in a loving environment called MOPPETS. In MOPPETS, children are divided into age-appropriate groups and enjoy stories, games and other activities. Kids may be checked in at 9:15 am. Evening MOPS meets each Wednesday evening from 7-8pm. While moms are at the meeting, their children are being cared for in the nursery or attending JAM Choir (ages 2 and up), where they do crafts, play games and practice for the Christmas program in December. Children can be dropped off at 6:45 pm.
