Color War 2016
is one for the record books. We are so very proud of the campers and staff for the highest level of sportsmanship! Super officiating by the staff made it all come together.

No matter the score, ALL our Sesame Rockwood Campers and Staff were all winners!

The Last Event of COLOR WAR 2016 was THE SING!

    The campers and staff have practiced all week, and they sounded so beautiful. This afternoon they let it all out with The Cheers and The Team Song. Points were awarded based on (1) the entrance (2) the choreography (3) and the songs themselves.

Next week is Awards Seasons Week, featuring the 2nd GaGa Tournament (always a highlight) of 2016, along with a LIVE Concert, Award and Move-Up Ceremonies, the Rockwood Broadway Show, and much more!

As we head into Week 8 ... have a wonderful weekend.

Gratuity Guidelines

 

We know that our staff work hard in caring for your child.  You should expect nothing less from Sesame/Rockwood.  Tipping, though, is discretionary, but should you decide that one is deserving, we have prepared a helpful guideline.  As in all gratuities, the amount should be predicated on the performance of the individual(s).  

  

Should a tip be warranted, place the amount in a sealed envelope with (1) the staff person's  name, (2) the bunk name written on the front and (3) present it to the Camp Office only on the last day of your child's session.  The gratuity will be forwarded to the staff member. 

  

The names of the bunk counselors and CITs were provided to you at Meet the Counselor Day and again during Visiting Week.  If there is a change in
the staffing of the bunk, you will be notified in writing by the Camp Office. 

  

Senior Bunk Counselors +/- $4.00/week per camper per counselor


 Junior Bunk Counselors +/- $3.00/Week per camper per counselor

  

CITs (Counselor in Training) +/- $1.50/per camper week per CIT

  

Driver and +/- generally, the same as Junior/Senior 

 

Trans Counselors $3/week per family, split at your discretion between the Vehicle Driver and the Trans Counselor
