Dear Camp Families...
Goodbyes are not forever,
Goodbyes are not the end
They simply mean, we'll miss you
Until we meet again.
On Friday, August 15, 2014, Sesame/Rockwood Camps will conclude its 61st day camp season. We warmly wish you all a fun rest of the summer and a successful start to the school year for our campers.
There are many elements that go into making the type of perfect summer we experienced in 2014... such as * the magnificent weather * the varied schedule of activities * the bunking of old friends and the meeting of new ones * the outstanding dozens and dozens of Special Events and Activities * the varied clubs and electives choices * the super duper pool slide * the two new zip lines and stairs at the ropes course * the new kayaking and fishing experience * the hours and hours and hours that each of our staff members spent in real face to face training as well as on-line training * the planning, planning and more planning since August of 2013 * our caring and safety minded drivers and trans counselors * the detailed oriented grounds, housekeeping and support staff * the warm and compassionate nursing staff * our kind and efficient office staff (both the summer and superstar year round office personnel) * the friendly and dedicated food service staff * the role models embodied in each and every one of our Leadership Team of Directors * The Color War Break along with the high caliber spirit and sportsmanship demonstrated * the spectacular swim staff and leaders who implemented the challenging swim levels of the American Red Cross perfectly * the sports coaches and leaders who brought the program of coaching and fair play to an all new SRC level * the hard-working and fun loving arts staff and leaders that led by example and turned the campers onto an appreciation of everything performing and creative in the Arts Rec Barn * the taking of campers to new heights with confidence with the adventure leaders and ropes course staff and nature staff * did I say how wonderfully perfect the weather has been all summer * and lastly, the Senior Counselors and Junior Counselors ... words cannot express our sincere appreciation for the day in and day out hard work that the bunk counselors demonstrated for 39 days. You did great!
We will see you in 2015
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us the privilege of taking care of your child(ren) and helping them grow a bit this summer.
We wish each of our campers much success this upcoming academic school year.... and will see you at the bowling party reunion later this Fall.

Our WonderKey School is a fully accredited pre-school for children 2 through 5 years of age, where wonderful learning takes place. In a warm and nurturing environment, our young students benefit from excellent early learning experiences. The best part is that all of this takes place right here at camp where we can take full advantage of all that camp has to offer. Most members of WonderKey faculty are familiar camp faces; we even get to see Uncle Howard and Aunt Dale throughout the school year! Our school participates in Keystone Stars as a childcare provider. We exceed State Health & Safety licensing requirements.
If you would like more information or a tour of the WonderKey School, please contact our School Director Fern Helfer (Camp's Genie Director) at (610) 279-8711. Our website can be a great resource too!
