Based on feedback received from members following the annual meeting, the ARB has made significant revisions to the guidelines for NGS for HLA typing. The document was approved by the full ARB as well as the ASHI Board of Directors. Keep in mind that these are guidelines based on input by experienced, early adopters. It is always the responsibility of the laboratory director to perform test validation based on the needs for their respective programs.
