Dear ASHI Member,
The proposed changes in OPTN/UNOS policies currently out for public comment include two proposals that will affect your laboratories' testing procedures (see links to those proposals below).  The Organ Transplant section of ASHI's National Clinical Affairs Committee prepared "official" ASHI comments about these and one of the other proposed changes.  Each of you is strongly encouraged to comment as individuals on these and/or other proposed changes since all comments will be considered in the OPTN/UNOS public comment review process.
