Why Attend?

Technologists have been attending the regional education workshops throughout the years for three main reasons:

1. Designed for technologists
2. One-on-one contact with faculty
3. Clinical application

Here's what technologists have been saying about past regional education workshops:

"I am relatively new to the HLA field and I have gained invaluable information/knowledge at this workshop. All of the presenters were excellent and had a way of keeping me thoroughly engaged during their presentations."

"The opportunity to compare different lab strategies and learn how others are dealing with similar issues in the field is very helpful."

I enjoy how Dr. Bray opens up the floor for discussion. It makes technologists feel that it is okay to ask questions of a director or supervisor. I remember a previous regional when he said at the beginning, 'this is your meeting, ask questions.'"
