Dear Lab Directors,

ASHI is pleased to host this year's International Summer School in cooperation with APHIA and EFI. It will be held in Boulder, CO just prior to the 40th ASHI Annual Meeting in Denver. 

The target audience includes:
* Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in the fields of histocompatibility and/or immunogenetics
* Histocompatibility laboratory directors-in-training
* Experienced technologists in histocompatibility and/or immunogenetics laboratories with an interest in research or advanced learning opportunities

ASHI offers two travel stipends each year to support students/scientists.

Applicants for travel stipends must supply:
* Completed application
* Statement of motivation for attending this meeting
* A summary of current research
* Letter of support from their supervisor/head of department
* Curriculum vitae

Applicants for travel stipends must:
* Have current ASHI membership
* Currently be enrolled or have recently completed an advanced degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent)
* Have background slides and data (or research plan) for a 20-minute presentation to be given at the International Summer School
* Stay for the duration of the meeting

Research and active technical staff will also be considered.
