ASHI Membership & Proficiency Testing Program Subscribers

ASHI will again be providing surveys for Engraftment Monitoring, HLA-B27 Detection, HLA Typing (both serological and molecular), and Antibody Screening/Identification & Crossmatching. Two major changes for 2013 will make it even better than last year! 
  • The AC (Antibody Screen/Identification & Crossmatching) survey will include a new broad method group for solid phase testing of complement fixing antibodies. It won't be graded in 2013, but participating lab results will be included in the Summary Reports.
  • The new "AT" module in the AC survey for antibody identification alone (without cells for crossmatching) provides additional cost savings for labs that don't need crossmatching PT.
The 2013 ASHI Lab Center website has been launched for easy online ordering. The shipping schedule has been finalized. The first shipment date (the HT Survey) will be February 26, 2013.
