TSAHC Fundraising Success
TSAHC has been awarded a $5,000 grant from Insperity to support the Texas Financial Toolbox online resource. Specifically, the grant will help support the mortgage calculator tool, which provides detailed information on the home buying process, a glossary of terms, and an interest rate tool that helps potential homeowners estimate their mortgage interest rate based on their FICO score. The Texas Financial Toolbox was made possible in part by a 2011 grant from Insperity, and we're thrilled to continue our partnership with Insperity to provide this valuable resource to Texas consumers.
Frost Bank has awarded a $2,500 grant to TSAHC to support the Texas Statewide Homebuyer Education Program (TSHEP). The TSHEP program provides affordable professional development trainings to nonprofit housing and financial counselors. Specifically, this award will support the upcoming financial coaching courses offered in San Antonio in May.
TSAHC received 19 donations totaling $1,230 during Amplify Austin, a 24-hour giving campaign supporting Austin-based nonprofits. Unless otherwise directed, all donations will support the Texas Financial Toolbox online resource. Thanks to our donors for making our first Amplify Austin day a success!
