Ron Walker, Shirley Agnos, Tara Jackson and Gabby Giffords at Tuesday's luncheon.
Former U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords inspired a crowded room of Arizona leaders when she accepted the Shirley Agnos Legacy Award on behalf of herself and her husband Mark Kelly. For additional stories about the event follow this link.
The luncheon was held in conjunction with the 101st Town Hall on civic leadership. Participants of the Town Hall developed a detailed action plan and are already implementing recommendations from the final report.

As 2012 comes to a close, we all have an opportunity to assess the way we make an impact. The "Town Hall way" is to educate, engage and empower Arizonans through robust and respectful dialogue.
It is in that spirit that we ask you to consider three acts of civic leadership before the calendar flips to a new year:
1)Showcase these brief but important and inspirational messages with your friends, colleagues, and social media networks.
2) Just one action, big or small, makes a difference. Take time to read the 101st Town Hall recommendations and see how you can play a role in making even one of them a reality.
3) Support and invest in the "Town Hall way." If you believe in the importance of bringing Arizona's diverse communities together, then we need your support. Please consider investing today.
