Communities as diverse as Douglas, Lake Havasu City and Yuma have already discussed how to make changes in their communities based on ideas from the 100th Town Hall. Programs are still underway with events in Sedona, Flagstaff, Show Low and Maricopa and Pinal Counties still to come.

Click here to read the full statements made during recent Community Outreach Programs. Below are some excerpts.

"Individually, we need to support political discussions that are not as polarizing and that encourage compromise, problem solving and seeking mutually beneficial solutions." - Tucson

"Post secondary institutions have an important role to play in civic engagement, including creating centers for civic engagement and incorporating education around civic engagement into their curriculum." - Sierra Vista

"We must lead by example. Each of us should take personal responsibility for modeling the behavior we want others to emulate." - Douglas

"It's essential that we engage our youth early and teach them how to constructively engage with others. We should also give greater support to extracurricular activities for our youth whether in the form of personal engagement or financial support." - Lake Havasu City

"It's critical that we support efforts to improve civic engagement in our educational institutions. Education is a bridge to lifelong civic engagement." - Yuma
