Lani Guineier
Professor Lani Guinier is a prominent civil rights attorney and the first tenured African- American female professor at Harvard Law School. In 2008, Guinier was also one of the first recipients of the Frederick Douglass Medal awarded by the University of Rochester and our Frederick Douglass Institute for African and African-American Studies.
