Confluence of Blue
The 2014 Featured Artwork by sculptor, Ken Newman, is Confluence of Blue, a bronze that depicts Great Blue Herons gathered around a White Oak. The piece was inspired by the nature and beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and the community spirit of the Waterfowl Festival.

Confluence of Blue, is available in a bronze edition of 11. The first in the edition will be sold exclusively at the 2014 Waterfowl Festival and the base will be crafted of Eastern White Oak that will be intricately carved with special features by the artist.

 

Sculpture Dimensions: 47"H x 32"Wx 40"D, approx. 175 pounds,
Base measures 16" x 16".


Pricing: #1 of the Edition:  $26,500

#3-11 of the Edition: $22,500 with NO SHIPPING CHARGES if ordered and deposit received by August 1, 2014. Ordered editions will be available for pick-up at 2014 Waterfowl Festival, November 14-16th.

#3-11 of the Edition: $22,500 if ordered and deposit received by October 1, 2014.

Miniature Editions: Focus and Unity

In addition to the full-sized edition, Ken Newman will also be offering two editions of 22 miniature sculptures inspired by Confluence of Blue. Here is a sneak-peek at the individual Great Blue Heron sculptures in wax - Focus and Unity. They are due out of the foundry in August.
