Governor releases 2013-14 budget

Earlier today, Governor Brown released his proposed 2013-14 budget.  In regards to child care funding, there are not significant cuts to child care nor language to realign or restructure. However, according to the Department of Finance (DOF) it will be another day or two until more specific details are released.

According to the administration, although there are shifts in monies, the way in which the numbers were based, slots are not lost.  Although the numbers below indicate some losses and reductions, it is our understanding that these changes are based on caseload and enrollment information.
