Beware of Fake Tech Support Phone Calls
A number of my clients have been contacted by telephone by people claiming to be with Microsoft and offering to help them with their computer. Let me be very clear, no reputable company is going to call you out of the blue. These calls are coming from cold call centers with the goal of tricking you into paying for their worthless services or worse. They are very cunning sometimes working remotely on your computer for hours without asking for payment. What they are trying to do is build trust with you so the next time they call you will be more likely to go along with what they suggest.
Never, ever go along with a cold caller. Whether it is for tech services, a financial investment or home improvement, treat all cold callers alike. End the call as quickly as possible or just hangup on them.

Some of my clients do not realize that my business has expanded to all mobile devices. In fact, any consumer electronic product that you can purchase I can help you with. So if you would like help setting up or syncing your new smartphone or tablet or connecting your new WiFi TV to the Internet, just let me know.
