National School Counseling Week, Feb. 4-8

It's never too early to start planning for National School Counseling Week. Celebrated each year during the first full week of February, National School Counseling Week gives us the chance to shine a spotlight on the school counseling profession and how students are different as a result of school counseling programs. Get ready to promote the week in your school or district with these materials (many of them free) from ASCA:
* Sample proclamation
* Sample certificate of appreciation
* Sample press release
* National School Counseling Week poster
* Pencils or stickers to hand out to your students
* Doorhangers
