New bunting and new traders for Spring 2013
Some fabulous new Kentish traders were recruited over the Winter close season and have all opened their doors for the first time this Spring.
David and Mandy from Mitchell Original Art in Herne Bay are displaying their own range of paintings and drawings. Kim Tuckwood from Kimmi's Makes in Whitstable offers hand-made and hand-quilted goods and Phil Castle from Hythe is launching a new business called I'm the Star offering personlised music CD's, DVD's and gifts for children. We are also delighted to welcome a well known Whitstable business as Veronica Gaynor launches Tea & Times Express, a new harbour offshoot of the popular cafe on the High Street that will focus on delicious home made Kentish cakes and other yummy food.

We are six years old this May.
They say time flies when you are having fun and Whitstable Harbour Village will be six years old this May. We will be holding a special reception at the Horsebridge Centre on Wednesday 29th May to thank all of those that made this unique community venture possible.
Since Canterbury City Council and Whitstable Harbour Board granted permission for us to set up a temporary market on some ugly unused space on the South Quay in 2006, a vibrant creative and business community developed. Since then, more than 20 traders have graduated from the huts in the harbour village to set up successful shops, galleries and businesses in the town of Whitstable and across the rest of Kent adding huge value to our local economy.
