I have this intense (overwhelming) feeling that 2014 must be a serious year of prayer. With so many people so sick with so many different ailments (ranging from flu and pneumonia to brain tumors and other cancers, depression, etc.) and problems (ranging from unemployment to caring for elderly parents or rebellious teens; sub-freezing temperatures or drought or tornadoes; marital unfaithfulness; suicide rates; etc) - THIS MUST BE A YEAR OF PRAYER. I'd love to hear and pray for your prayer requests and praise reports. [Post them here!] My selfish prayer is that this 4-week bacterial sinusitis and viral bronchitis will pass soon, so I can pray more heartily and report back to my employer...Our Lord Jesus Christ who reigns supreme! Please pray, too, for my daughter-in-love who lost her dear dad just before Christmas and for our LPCCI Board Members who are getting pummeled with sorrows (including one hospitalization.) Thanks to Linda Graber (LPCCI Instructor), her husband Pastor Eddie Graber (LPCCI Coach-Facilitator), and their daughter Sarah Graber (currently completing her LPCCI classes), the students, alum, and Dr. B. didn't only have a well organized training at the Church of Parker's start-up Coach Training Center, but they definitely enjoyed themselves at an extremely well orchestrated day of 9am-7pm! A special THANK YOU to Linda! And many thanks also to students Maxine Hall + Bobbie Sengenberger who kept all well fed throughout the morning, noon, and night. Some fun pics for you:

An Influential Leader Event...to Kick Off 2014!

We to invite you to join a LOCAL leadership gathering event on February 7 & 8 in association with the IF:Gathering. The IF:Gathering ministry was founded by Jenni Allen, Lyndsey Nobles, Christine Caine, et. al, this last year. This year's event is going to be in Austin, Texas, but they're also having many LOCAL events throughout the United States. I am hosting a local event in Mission Viejo for life coaches and women leaders from various churches and ministries in the area.
A number of influential leaders in the area have already committed to joining this event, including Debbie Eaton, Saddleback Church Women's Ministry Director and Advisor for the IF:Gathering, and Dr. Katie Brazelton, Founder of Life Purpose Coaching Centers International®. We will watch the TX keynote speakers via webcast, as well as have our own live worship. Our break-out discussion times will give us plenty of time to strategize how we, as leaders, can come together in Orange County, CA, to inspire women to live out their God-given purpose in life.
