Greetings, I hope this newsletter finds you doing well.
Another amazing Master's in the books. Congratulations to Bubba Watson for winning his second green jacket. He hit some amazing shots- most notably his 360 yard drive on 13 and his second shot on 15. He is currently leading the money list and I see him continuing to have a great year. I was fortunate enough to witness his game first hand during a practice round at the 2008 Buick Invitational and was amazed with his shot making skills. Unfortunately no one picked Bubba Watson to win the Master's and a free lesson. My pick of Dustin Johnson did not fare too well.
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mom's out there. In honor of Mother's Day on May 11th, I am offering a couple of specials for the Mom's who are looking to improve their golf game (Please look to the left for details).

SWING TIP OF THE MONTH
Pitching Simplified
The golfers that I see do very well with the short game are those that place a lot of focus on the target. Those that struggle focus much more on the ball and/or technique. In this video, I go over a very simple routine that will help simplify your pitching.

PGA Tour Player Swing of the Month
2014 Master's Champion
Bubba Watson
Congratulations to Bubba Watson for winning his second green jacket. I see him winning another two to three jackets by the time his career is over...Augusta National sets up perfectly for his high fade.
Bubba has never had a golf lesson in his life and I would recommend that he never does, he has figured out a way on his own to hit the ball well and do it on a (pretty) consistent basis. I highly recommend that students follow Bubba's practice routine of trying to hit different shots (hooks, fades, draws, slices, high, low, etc...) as it is a wonderful way to learn how to hit different shots and identify what shots you need to work on to make your game more complete.
