Greetings!
Greetings, I hope this newsletter finds you doing well.
What an exciting PGA Championship on a very demanding golf course. Congratulations to Jason Dufner for winning his first major. Jason is best known for being a great ball striker, his waggles, and his demeanor - which seems to never change, no matter what type of shot he hits. Unfortunately, no one chose Jason to win the PGA and receive a free lesson. You can see his swing in action in the Monthly PGA Tour Player Swing of the Month.

In the rest of the newsletter, you will see the following features:

*Honor Roll Students- there were quite a few of you who have been playing some great golf.

Swing Tip of the Month
Getting out of the sand-
Seve drill with a 1 iron
Most golfers who struggle out of the sand, tend to have the ball too far back in the stance with too little loft. The Seve drill, named after Seve Ballesteros (one of the greatest shot makers of all time), encourages you to practice getting out of the sand with a longer golf club which forces you to have more loft and move the ball more forward in the stance.

PGA Tour Player Swing of the Month
2013 PGA Championship Winner
Jason Dufner
This video was taken during practice rounds at the 2009 Buick Invitational. As you can see, Jason does a great job of rotating through the ball on the downswing and finishing in balance.
