Yard Sale to help feed the hungry

Church of the Good Samaritan, Amelia, will hold a yard sale on Saturday June 6 to help feed the hungry of Amelia. The yard sale is part of an Amelia-wide yard sale. The hours of operation for the church will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Good Samaritan is located at 25 Amelia Olive Branch Road in Amelia. If you have any questions ,please call the Senior Warden Charles Buhler at 513.833.1351.

Positions at Bethany School

Bethany School is seeking a full time music teacher for the 2015-16 school year. Qualified candidates must possess Ohio certification.  Experience and Orff certification are preferred. The music teacher would handle daily music classes for grades 1 - 8, as well as four performances throughout the year.


Bethany School is seeking a full time teacher in our sixth-grade program for the 2015-16 school year. Qualified 
candidates must possess a 4-9 Ohio license in the areas of Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies.  Experience is necessary.

Parish Accountant

St. Timothy's, Cincinnati, seeks a part-time accountant (20-30 hours per week based on workload, with benefits)
The Parish Accountant  is responsible for all accounting functions of St. Timothy's, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, preparation of financial statements, payroll preparation, budget preparation, annual reporting. and account analysis and reconciliation. The Parish Accountant will report to the Parish Administrator.

Christ Church, Springfield, is seeking a caring and compassionate individual who is able to be an ambassador for the parish in the role of Parish Administrator. This individual will often be the first point of contact for the public and must be both sympathetic to the individual and delicately objective as needed. 

Qualifications include:

  • Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office), including some basic financial record keeping

Parish Office Manager

The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, Hyde Park, Cincinnati, is looking for a full time Parish Office Manager. We seek a candidate who is well-organized with good administrative management skills and 'follow through' to join a vibrant church staff of four clergy and more than a dozen, mostly part time, staff.The candidate should have good technical skills and be comfortable around PCs and Macs. The Parish Office Manager will serve as the communication hub for clergy and staff and be the primary liaison with vendors and service providers. He or she will also be the gatekeeper for building facilities management, coordinating maintenance and repairs, maintaining a database of vendors and providers, and inputting schedule information into the HVAC controls software. Associate Musician for Children and Youth

Christ Church Cathedral, a vibrant and inclusive faith community in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks a quarter-time associate musician to lead and develop its choral music program for children and youth.

The successful candidate will have at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. choral conducting or sacred music), extensive experience as a choral conductor of children's/youth choirs, and an appreciation of the Anglican sacred music tradition.
