Thank you for your continuing support of the work of Episcopal Relief & Development. Contributions in 2011 were $128,904. I'll alert you when 2012 results become available, including contributions to the NetsforLife® Inspiration Fund in honor of the ministry and contributions of Bishop Ken and Mariann these past eighteen years.  More than $11,800 had been contributed to this special tribute campaign by the end of 2012.  Contributions made by February 12, 2013 will be matched by a contribution from the William Cooper Procter Fund. Please remind members of your congregations of this opportunity to honor the Price's and support the Episcopal Church's commitment to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

As provided for in the resolution adopted by our 134th Annual Convention, Bishop Breidenthal has selected the Fourth Sunday in Lent March 10, 2013 as "Episcopal Relief & Development Sunday."  Everything you need to organize this event for your congregation is available at http://www.er-d.org/Lent. The 2013 Lenten Meditations can be ordered from Episcopal Marketplace online at http://episcopalmarketplace.org/Products/Episcopal-Relief-Development  or over the phone by calling 866.937.2772. Episcopal Relief & Development's tenth annual Lenten Meditations booklet was co-authored by Episcopal Church leaders from a variety of background and is intended to help us focus on alleviating hunger worldwide while preparing ourselves for spiritual healing. Hope chests, prayer cards, bookmarks and offering envelopes are also available and can be sued in accompaniment with the devotional booklets.  You are encouraged to place your orders by Friday, February 1, to ensure that the materials arrive by Ash Wednesday, February 13.
